John Longshore can be heard every weekday morning 7-10am on "Sportsline" with his co-host Barry McKnight. John's been an avid participant and critic of sports since his days as a member of Charles Lee's storied Jeff Davis High School Teams of the early 80's. Disappointed that a scholarship offer did not come his way (not much need for a clip board holder) John headed up highway 82 to the University of Alabama.

Doug Amos and Josh Moon

In addition to hosting The Max RoundTable that can be heard weekdays noon to 2 on SportsRadio 740, Doug has hosted Prep-Sports Weekly which focuses on High-School athletics since it's inception in 1994 and is on SportsRadio 740 Saturday mornings from 7 to 8. Doug has hosted his own daily sports radio show in his hometown of Montgomery Alabama working with both John Longshore and the late Jim Fyffe. In his "free time" Doug is also assistant athletic director for media relations and marketing at Faulkner University, where he is the play-by-play broadcaster for Eagles football and basketball games. Doug has been involved in nearly every aspect of  the sports media world since starting his career in 1984.


 

Josh Moon, Doug's co-host on The Max RoundTable has been a sports reporter/columnist for the Montgomery Advertiser since moving to the capitol city 7 years ago from his hometown of Decatur Alabama. Josh graduated from A.U.M. with a degree in Mass Communications. He has a Labrador Retriever, two Jack Russells and a wife, who would tell you that she has a Labrador Retriever, two Jack Russells and a husband. Josh's favorite T.V. show is The Wire and in his list of top 5 movies you would find Wedding Crashers.

Paul Finebaum has been the leading authority in Alabama sports for over 20 years. He has been a sportswriter and columnist for the Birmingham Post-Herald since 1980 and has won over 250 national, regional and area sports-writing awards. His column is syndicated throughout the country by Scripps Howard News Service and is considered one of the top sports columnists in the South. Finebaum's articles have appeared in a number of national publications, including the New York Times, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.
